help needed, wap11s

hey all, trying to get two linksys wap11s v2.2 to work together to allow remote wireless clients to access the wired lan.

set up is as follows: wap11a connect to lan, wap11b sitting remotely not connected to lan.

i can get the 2 wap11 to ping each other without packet loss, but i cannot the wireless clients to get a signal from wap11b. i have tried to get help from linksys but they fumbled me around for 3.5 hours and refused to escalate the call to someone who was not reading notes off a screen (ie tier 2 support at least)

further info: wap11a is configure as access point, static ip, wap11b is configured as access point client pointing to wap11a's mac address and has a static ip as well


any help would be appreciated
