Is there any hardware out there that would filter out other WiFi devices and only show the users the WiFi devices that belong to them.

For example, an office floor would not display the Wifi networks for the floor above and below it, just the floor's own WiFi network and block its use outsides its premises.

The least you can do is change your SSID and hide or don't broadcast
them and manually configure the new ssid to your specific users each floor. but the problem with this is,once the users has previously detected your AP ssid or AP mac address it will be forever detected? not sure about this.
Just play around with it and let us know.

Thats also one of my problem, i want to degrade my wifi router signal from
the 2nd floor building and what i did is put a wide mettalic piece and fiber
glass on top of my AP's and so far it is working.

Changing the OP's SSID would not have any affect on the other wireless networks or would it change the way the wireless client software works.

As of this time there I know of no real devices or software that will do as you ask. You have a few choices to mitigate some of the problem. Switching to 802.11a will have the affect of eliminating the other wireless networks. The other option is to get bridge client devices and not use the computer's internal wireless application. You setup the bridge device to have a one to one connection with the access point. Both ideas are not that, but that is all I have for help.

Consider this wireless supplicant software application called Odyssey Client.

You get a 30 day trial. You can lock (username/password) configuration changes for the PC or laptop wireless adapter and I believe it can be configured to only connect to certain networks.
