Meeting place or ************* for WLAN design?

Is there a forum or communications channel for people who need WLAN designs and site surveys and companies available to do them?

Or is this still a case by case area where some network integrators get contracts and find the expertise to fulfill them?

I have been contacting companies about their use of subcontractors to create good WLAN designs. Is there a more organized way for companies to locate specialized site survey, design, and troubleshooting expertise when they need it?

I know of no all encompassing organization or website that lists just WLAN professionals. There are a few that compile IT professionals, but that is still just a list and one does not know if they are of any benefit or not. I would submit that BBB in your area might be of some help. There are also user groups in many urban locations that are populated by professionals and they maybe a good place to start.

Word of mouth is still the best method, albeit a bit cumbersome.
