Hi everybody, i am trying to make work one access point that supports multiple SSID's and multiple VLAN's in order to have standard 802.11b users and 802.1x users access the system at the same time.
This is the hardware i am using
AP: Cisco aironet 350
Windows 98 and XP
Pc card: Cisco 350 and SIlver Orinoco.
I set up the AP with two VLAN's and 2 SSID's, each SSID associated to one VLAN.
For the first VLAN i set open with no encryption, for the second VLAN i set Network EAP, no WEP, and then i set the RADIUS server to where the EAP packets should be forwarded for authentication.
On the client side i used WinXP with a Cisco 350, enabled EAP/MD5.
What happens is that the card tries to authenticate, it sends packets to the AP but the AP does not forward the packets to the RADIUS server.
Probably there must be something missing in the AP configuration, but i can't find what it is.
Did anyone succeed in doing such a thing? Can anyone help me?
