I need help to set up the following network
(my pc)--->(2100ap)---->(antenna) -------> (distance antenna and network)
Fist of all I connected the 2100 on my pc via Ethernet. I set up the 2100 ip on the network connection so I can have access on it.
I can access the 2100 but I get no “warning” that I have a wireless network and the 2100 doesn’t appear on my device manager .i set up UPnP and I don’t remember any other needed settings for the time I set up a wired router long ago.
My network cart is Marvell’s Yukon
Question) is this ok? Or windows must show that a wireless network is present?
I do a scan ,I find the hot spot than I want and apply the settings.
The 2100 is set on ap client and I don’t know if this is the correct setting that I need.
I need to use WPA (PEAP 128bit), RADIUS but this is only available in ap mode only.
And I also need to use a certificate to access the network that I have already installed.
Question) haw can I set this up so my pc do all the process and 2100 is just a bridge (if I am correct)
I have a detaild guid how to set up the network on my pc but I have no clue how to set up the 2100 so the security , pass and user name ,and connection be haldled by my pc and not 2100
