hi, i bought a router from ebay and recevied it today :D.
however i cannot connect to it as i get a message saying "limited or no connectivity" also i dont know what the IP address to access the settings is, do any of you know any software/methods that can reveal its IP.
also it will connect via a patch cable but i cannot do anything as i do not know the IP!
also i am running windows XP SP2 and connecting via an intel wireless 2200BG wifi card. i am using the software that came with my card to connect to the modem, not WZC.
any help would be much appreciated.
heres a link to the router i bought
http://snipurl.com/IPlinkrouter
This is the only place where I found any information on IPlink routers. That model does not seem to exist. Check out the link and you will maybe find product manuals that will list the IP addr, username and password required to gain entry. I would suggest resetting the router first to get it to the default configuration.

thanks again, i looked underneath and found the model no:X8268R, searched the internet and i have found the site for it! http://snipurl.com/mxeq
however i can only find a datasheet about it, a google search came with around 175 results most of them useless foreign sites. could you please help me again with finding this. i am getting very close to find it. also i tried the support department when you cant register to them!
more help would be much appreciated
edit: i found a contact us button at the top and sent a email to "sales" hopefully they will get back to me even though ive got the wrong department
edit again: email has failed:mailbox unkown or not accepting mail! youd think theyd have a half decent support field, oh well i will find it with your assistance! hopefully!
Did you check on the CD that came with it. Sometimes there are product manuals and quick install guides on the CD.
I am not finding anything either. You may try emailing the seller.

didnt come with a CD, i contacted the seller asking him for the setup IP and assumed i wanted his personal computers IP to hack it! also he called me dumb i think hes the dumb one!
I guess, I would send it back as the advert said it came with a CD. Or at least tell EBay what is going and and give that person a really bad review.
I guess you could try the reset and then one of these IP addrs as they are the most common.
