Is anyone other then me using 2 WUSB54G's off the same AP.. I have a
WAP54g and 2 New Dell pc's and am trying to use USB adapters to
connect.. having all sorts of problems, Can't share printer between the
two, Getting "access violation at
address 004075e5 module WUSB54G4.exe of address 00000368" on both PC's
and having connect issues (one or the other drops off the net)

There are several issues similar to yours that I know of. One is that as soon as one USB adapter is enabled the whole wireless network shuts down. Not sure what to say as I have not been able to resolve it other than to get different branded USB adapters.

I had trouble with the 54G's too. Caused PC lockups as well.

I switched to Zyxel G-200's, they work flawlessly (well, as flawlessly as any USB wireless adapter can - using LOTS of CPU vs. what a PCMCIA card wireless adapter does) and are very stable.

One thing to keep in mind is that USB wireless adapters draw the max. current allowable from a USB port (500mA) which puts them always "right on the edge" of a malfunction. Maybe a powered hub would help this...

I normally do not like to expound about vendors, but it is pretty well known that I am not a LinkSys fan at all, unless Cisco will whip them into shape. Doubt it though.

But I am getting more and more impressed with Zyxel, if they stay on track. I am using more and more of their equipment and liking it very much. This is just my opinion and I am not even remotely associated with them. For example, I have their wifi finder/USB wireless adapter and just adore that thing.

And...

Their products are feature rich, their user guides are very well written, they provide firmware release notes including known issues, and you can get that wifi finder at CompUSA.

Nice company to partner with.
