Hi,

I am having issues between some DWL-2000AP+ AP's.

I have a DWL-2000AP+ with is a revision A2, and a DWL-2000AP+ which is revision B1 and I cant the first one to repeat the second ones signal...

I have tried another DWL-2000AP+ with the same revision, and it works fine...

Obviously tried resseting the unit, updating firmware, etc... but still cant get it to work properly.

Anyone had similar problem? Any ideas?

Thanks

AP's set to repeater mode generally only work if:

you're "repeating" to another unit by the same manufacturer

the units have the same chipset.

I think based on the rev. info you gave, that these two do NOT have the same chipset.

You are probably screwed.

What/Why are you trying to repeat?

hi, no, they have different chipset, in fact, inside they couldnt look more different! Amazing really, they are meant to be the same model! But anyway, there is no way of getting this feature to work (to my knowledge...)

I am trying to repeat the signal of the original AP to extend the wifi coverage of our network.

Thanks

repeating off a repeater on DWL-2000AP+s's does NOT work!
