Ok..

So i went ahead and i purchased the SuperRange Cardbus card as found here (http://www.ubnt.com/supper_range_cardbus.php4) and it has two antenna connections.

I had asked this once before but Im confused. I believe it was M\Q who said that i should NOT use both antennas at the same time. After taking apart my laptop i found that the MiniPCI card in the laptop has two antennas connected to it.

So my question is whether or not i am supposed to use both antennas at once? And if not, then why not?

Thanks,
Bryan

Check your data sheet as it is important to know which one to use. One is the main and the other is the auxillary. I have not asked this supplier about why but others have done so because that connector is so fragile.

Not sure about which minPCI adapter you had, but in some cases they use the same technology that LinkSys uses where they firmware checks to see which antenna is receiving the best signal. This is because the antennas are minimal at best buried deep in a notebook.
