Hi !

I need to connect 2 laptops wireless over a distance of 600 m. I have 2 Netgear AP's with bridge/repeater funktion. Both with hi-gain antennas. Both laptops must be able to connect wireless all the way

Laptop ...... AP ............. AP ....... Laptop
(Dotted lines are wireless connection)

There are no connection to internet its a small LAN where 1 Laptop operates a IP-camera and the other laptop is for controlling and monitoring the camera.

My Question is how do i setup the AP's ? As bridge or repeater or ?

Thanks

John W.

Well at 600 meters you are not going to get what you want. The way you have it is not correct. You can not have both devices repeating. The only way you are gong to get it to work as shown is to use Ethernet to connect the notebooks to the AP's and then bridge the AP's

If you add two more AP's you can do it via wireles
