I have a DI-624 (802.11g router) connected to:
- cable modem
- wired computer 1

I also have a DWL-2000AP (Access Point configured as a " Wireless Client") connected to:
- wired computer 2

I want to connect a network printer physically near the DWL-2000AP. The DWL-2000AP can act as a wireless access point, as a point-to-point bridge with another access point, as a point-to-multi-point wireless bridge, or as a wireless client.

I remeber reading that I can put a hub or something like that between the DWL-2000AP and wired computer 2. Is this true? If so, can I also connect the printer to the hub? Do I have to change the mode of the DWL-2000AP? Is it better to get a hub or switch? What do I need to do?

Thanks for any input.

All you have to do is get the hub/switch you referred to. In your case either one would be sufficient. Also leave the AP as is.

One point to make sure of is that all of the link lights on the hub/switch are one. That will mean that there is a conection and the cables are the right type.
