Hi guys. I just got this router and I'm having trouble setting it up correctly. I've flashed it with the latest firmware already.
Basically, I have two computers here. One is wired to the router and the otherone uses wifi to communicate with the router. My intention is to set them up so they can see each other and share Hard Drives among them while being relatively secure. Also, I do not want ANY other computer to be messing around in my network nor using my Internet connection.
I've set up everything and it seems to be working but I don't know how secure it is. I've enabled the Wireless MAC Restriction Mode and copied the MAC address of my laptop's card in there. Since I don't have any other wireless devices, how do I know that this is actually working and secure?
Another question comes up with the encription stuff. I'm not broadcasting the SSID and here's what I have set up in security: http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/9277/sec8qh.gif
Will this do? What needs to be changed to have the maximum security available?
Also, I have several Mp3 files on the wired computer that I would like to open in my laptop. Everything works OK for the first 3 minutes of music. After that, it starts pausing (or buffering) and I can't get that fixed. Is this a known issue with this router? Even with a 32mbit signal, this ocurrs and I'm not transferring other files on the wireless network.
