Greetings - I know that you are supposed to give each access point a unique channel to simplify roaming, but does that still apply to access points in repeater mode? For reference, my network consists of 3 D-Link DWL-900+ APs, one as a base AP and two as wireless repeaters. They are currently sharing a single channel now and roaming between cells isn't a problem, but I'm hoping to improve performance and prevent problems from arising in the future.

Thanks!

You will need to use an AP that has dual radio: one dedicated to repeating, one for local coverage. Orinoco (and others) has such a product.

The connection speed only needs to be as fast as the shared DSL line, so the half-duplex repeater mode of the D-Link AP is satisfactory.
