Firstly I am a complete novice regarding wireless networks.

I am trying to add a repeater to my home network. Without a repeater the signal strength at the back of the house is bad to non existent.

I have a Safecom SWAMR-54108 as the Access Point, set to SSID "SWAMR-54108", Channel 11, no Security. THE MAC address (also showing as the BSSID) is 00-30-54-40-31-FA

I have a Lantech WL54G-BR for the repeater, set to SSID "SWAMR-54108", Channel 11, no Security. THE MAC address (also showing as the BSSID) is 00-50-18-3B-D2-5A. I have enabled WDA and added the MAC address 00-30-54-40-31-FA.

If I switch on the Lantech AP then the computer at the back "locks on" to the that AP and not the Safecom, although it can "see" both. Si I have set something up wrong.

So far I have been trying this for six weeks, so if someone can help me out I would be very grateful.
