Please Help on IAS,AD,etc...!!!

Hi everybody,
i am a new on this website.
Actually i am trying to secure a wi-fi network...i want to use a radius server to authentificate my users.
I am using windows server 2000 SP4 for the server and XP family for clients...i tried more than 5 tutorials on the net and it is not working...
I set up my IAS, my access point..i create my users in Active Directory..and apparently these steps works fine...but when i try to connect from my laptop, windows tells me "authentification failed"...
On the other hand, i am sure that there is a connection between my AP and the radius server because in the "Iaslog" file i can find all the connection attempts from the clients....
i don't mind on the encryption or authentification protocol..i want it to work just once...the rest would be rekatively easy !
Any help, tutorial, clarifying document is veryyyy welcomed!!

I would recommend u to use windows 2000 advance server as your server with windowsXP SP2 clients
