If I only have VoIP connected to my broadband line (no computer network at all), do I need to be as concerned about my VoIP setup being subjected to span, malware, viruses, hacking, as I do a regular computer which is connected to a broadband line?
Are VoIP conversations just as secure (or more secure) from monitoring as my regular dial tone line?
I have a feeling that the VoIP is already encrypted as it is being used and therefore isn't as open to hacking, spoofing, malware, etc., as regular computers.
Thanks,
