Working Wrapi with 802.11g standard

My partner and I are working with the Wireless Research Application Programming Interface (WRAPI). We want to use this to query for network parameters on a mobile ad hoc G network (54mbps) but wrapi as of now only supports the b network. Does anyone know how this can be done?
