HotSpot Software... Need a list

He, well i got back to this forum...
Im now looking for an open source HotSpot software that will be able ho hendle many users lige 1000 similtaneous connection with mun speed of 10Mbps (well with a combination of good hardware um well)

-also i wish it would have such features as logical identification, lets say that i can write a simple script that it would chek if the user mac is in the list if it is it will show them thhe login page once a day like a mandatory news page that doesnt require username and passs, and if the user mac is not in DB than it would give the page with Username/Pasword input .... well i think u got watt im looking... so any ideas?

Basicly what your are looking for is a software or hardware solution that can do captive portal or a walled garden, However you might not find a solution that can handle 1000 simultanius users at the same time, infact your wireless infrastructure couldnt handle 1000 simultantius users at the same time.

well as to the infrastructure, if u have on avarage 20users per accees point and and you have 33 (my case ) ap connected to a aggregated sweetch tha you infrastructure can easily handl than # of users
