I'm having some difficulty with the IP configuration setup using a couple of NL-2611CB3 Plus (Delux) WAPs. Here's my setup:

1. Cable modem connected to
2. Router1 (LAN IP: 192.168.0.1) connected to
3. WAP1 acting as an access point (IP: 192.168.0.50) connect via wi-fi to
4. WAP2 acting as a bridge (IP: 192.168.0.70) connected to
5. Router2 (WAN IP: 192.168.0.80, LAN IP: 192.168.1.1) connected to
6. Computer (set to dynamically receive ip)

From WAP2, I can get a good signal to WAP1. It is configured to connect to the same SSID and channel as WAP1... and it says it is connected to it with a good signal strength. But I can't seem to ever ping either the WAP2 or the Router2 from a computer connected to Router1. I can ping WAP1 from that same computer though. Needless to say, I'm not getting access to the internet from the computer connected to Router2. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. If I take Router2 and plug it into Router1, everything works fine and the computer on Router2 can get the internet connection. But it's not working when I try to go between Router1 and Router2 using the WAPs. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks all!

To give a solution to my own question... WAP2 was acting as a bridge in point to point mode, when I switched to point to multi-point it started working fine... not sure why. If anyone has any explanation I'd like to know. Thanks.

Also, I decide to just have one router give out IPs so I pluged into one of the non-wan ports on the second router from WAP2, which allows the router to act as a hub/switch... wireless works the same way... all IPs come from Router1. All is well :)

it should work fine if you:

set WAP1 gateway as 192.168.0.1
set WAP2 gateway as 192.168.0.1
set Router2 gateway/WAN IP as 192.168.0.1
and have Router2 assign addresses in the 192.168.0.0-254 range, but not overlapping Router1's assignments OR turn off DHCP on router2

I think the problem was you were using two different subnets
192.168.0.1 & 192.168.1.1
