FroZone 08-05-2005, 10:35 AM MntnMan, I dont use mac myself but a buddy of mine recomended a program called Interarchy (http://www.interarchy.com/main/). You can try it for free so check it out. Good luck with it! bullox 08-06-2005, 05:19 AM Maybe give KisMac (http://freshmeat.net/projects/kismac/) a whirl? M/Q 09-25-2005, 09:00 AM EavesDrop is a very cool sniffer that works exclusively with Apple. It even will congregate the data into a readable format. Also throuugh the Fink Projet you can also load Ethereal by using their ported software. I use both for different purposes and Ethereal is really hard to beat. You may want to check out the Fink Project anyway as any software that is ported for Linux maybe there and ready to go for OS X as well. Francois Benjam 02-19-2008, 07:30 PM I'm just trying to get a grip on the idea of sniffing out networks and cracking them. And whilst I have downloaded kismac, to be quite Frank, I find it a touch confusing and the developers seem to be rather easily aggravated when approached for help. Not to be nasty, I'm sure that they do a lot of work and as such don't particularly wish to be bothered by nonsensical questions; however, at the same time reference is constantly given to a haphazard FAQ section and information that is never updated or renewed. Granted, it's the newbie's fault for not reading every word and understanding it, but certain chances should be granted. According to what I have read, KisMAC is not compatible with OSX Leopard, or with an intel-based mac. Is there anyone who can confirm this, without getting stroppy. Otherwise, correcting me. One thing with regards the KisMAC forums is simply that the answer is never given in these forums, and the new people that want the answers are only FINDING these forums when they search the site. I run a Macbook with Leopard installed, the Airport Extreme Card and an intel duo core processor. if anyone can recommend a programme that does what KisMAC purports to do, only without the aggravation from the setup, or from seeking help with it therein, I would be grateful. Merci Beacoup, Francois. momo 02-09-2009, 10:48 PM Kismac works just fine on my brand new macbook. running version r318 wi-fiplanet.com
