Can anyone tell me why the FCC frowns on a leaky coax hooked up to the modem ? It's the ideal set up when the signals can't penetrate the walls/partitions, it allows for "control" over where the signal is sent...I don't get it...Anyone here familiar with this issue???
Thanks
Sam

Hi Albe24:
I didn't know the FCC frowned on using leaky coax.
I would love to hear more from you on this.
Reason is, I was thinking of using leaky coax myself.
I tried to call Andrews on several occasions to get info from them on their Radiax cable. For some reason the Andrew Radiax rep, just won't call me back. I guess Andrews doesn't care if they sell Radiax to me or not.
I even got hold of another Andrews rep, who said they would have the Andrews rep call me. Still haven't heard from him.
