For some reason I can no longer apply WPA-PSK encryption to new profiles on my Dell latitude D400 running XP SP2. (I am an admin of the box.) It still works on the old profiles though. I posted some pics and basically the same question to the wireless forum on DSLR but I have gotten no replies. It seems like some sort of Windows issue. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi xpkranger,

1] Have you tried some troubleshooting steps.

2] Try restarting the wireless zero configuration or reinstalling the service if it fails to behave as normal to eliminate microsoft windows issues.

3] Delet all profiles & see if it behaves the same.

I'll start by deleting all the profiles that I can. One of the profiles is there permanently by group policy. I suppose I could remove myself from the domain and remove it that way. I'll try the services route too. If that fails, I think I'm just going to re-image it anyway.

Thanks for the help. I'll follow up with what happens.
