I've an old small net, reached over a linksys router. Disk and Printer sharing works fine. Since few days, i've a new DSL WLAN Router, which now connects me into the internet. At this time, i'm only able to connect with my WLAN client either to the DSL WLAN Router or to the Linksys WLAN Router. Is there any chance, to connect the two WLAN routers together, so that i can connect to one of the routers from my wlan client notebook. If its possible, whats specific in the configuration, for example the ssid.

Thanks in advance

Erwin

I have a similar setup. My DSL modem is connected to a WLAN router, which is configured as the DHCP host. The second WLAN router is connected via the UPLINK port and ethernet cable to another router for WLAN signal coverage in the other half of the building.

The important items are:
1. only one router is set as DHCP host; the other set in AP mode.
2. each router have a unique ssid.

Once set up, you should be able to connect to either router and access the DSL modem from the notebook.
