I made a simple parabolic reflecter today and placed it on one of our D-Link DWL 1700AP dipole antennas. I was after better coverage at the fringe of our property here at Mama's Fish House Restaurant. One of our 9 vacatin rentals couldn't connect. The signal there was -91db.
After the parabol installation, the signal jumped to -71db! Very excellent results! Coverage there is quite solid now.

It took me about 45 minutes to make one and install it up on the unit which is outdoor mounted. That rental I'm talking about is 250' away from the antenna behind dense foliage.
