Wireless Distribution System??

Good afternoon,

I'm looking at 11b/g radios that support WDS.

Based upon my limited knowledge, I'm guessing that each individual mfr's WDS is proprietary, not based on a standard. I'm suspecting that I won't be able make Cisco's AP repeat to another manufacturers AP.

Am I correct??
