I've read in various places that you can only have a max of 3 to 4 WiFi VoIP calls on any one 802.11b access point at the same time.
Is this correct? And if so; why?
The max data on 802.11b is 11Mbps (in practice a lot less); but a VoIP call using say G711u codec is around 80kbps.
So a single AP should be able to handle many more calls....??
Very grateful for any replies! Thanks.
