Need help with D-Link DI-624 security setup

I need help from some who has a D-Link DI-624 and a DWL-G520 NIC. I have been unable to institute any security features on the router without loosing connectivity with the Win98SE computer with the DWL-G520 NIC.

I have gone through the manuals, faq's, and even with D-Link tech support with no success.

Please someone please tell me what to do as if I am an idiot.

What kind of security are you trying to set up? WEP WPA-PSK?

Hi There:

I read about your connectivity issues with your D-Link products...

I have the same issues and will appreciate any comments if you solved the problem, and how..

I have a network of 5 computers attached to the router.

I have all new systems (2 P4 2.4 and 3.4GHz; 2 Athlons XP 2500 and 1 Athlon 64 3000 -all with 512MB DDR)
Two of the computers are wired to the router and 3 are wireless...
I am having connectivity issues even with the ones connected with a network cable. I loose connectivity very frequently.....

I had the router replaced already once by D-Link and played with the settings from a-z... from changing channels numbers to security settings and even disabled the gaming options of the router, talked to D-Link tech support but nothing seems to be working.... As long as I am connectec directly to my cable modem (I have cable high speed service) the network works ok...

I would very sincerely appreciate any comments....
