I am looking for a 802.11a device which can be configured to act as a lan to lan bridge.
There are many options for 802.11b, but what about 802.11a?
Thanks!

There are several 802.11a Access Points currently on the market. More will be released through the summer.
I have seen demos of Intel and SMC 802.11a products.
Start with their web sites.

Intel says they don't have a bridge mode.
SMC is silent on the matter, as far as I can tell.
If you know otherwise, that would be great!

What are you attempting to do?
My discussions last September with an Intel engineer who demo'd the product indicated there would be a bridge mode by Feb 2002. I guess he was "optimistically" estimating the release date for that feature.
