tools to know if someone is snooping?

hi. i was wondering if anyone knew of a software app that would inform me if someone was viewing data transmitted over a insecure wifi connection (e.g., in a coffe shop...).

There's no way, as a user, to know if someone is just monitoring the airwaves but if you install zone alarm (it's free), you'll know if someone tries to snoop files on your laptop.
