Hi,
I have next question:
1. BSS works in Infrastructure mode
2. one station (STA1) desires to transmit data frame to other station within same BSS (STA2).
Questions:
1. The frame should be transmitted through AP (Access Point) or directly from STA1 to STA2? If so, then toDS bit should be set in 1 when frame is transmitted from STA1 to AP, and fromDS bit should be set to 1 when the frame is transmitted from AP to STA2. Isn't it?
2. Can you give me link to the document that describes this process (transmittion in an Infrastructure mode) if it's possible?

Thank you.

in infrastructure mode all supplicants that want to speak to each other must do so through the AP especialy is WPA is implemented. when you have more than one bss the packet will traverse the ethernet segment to the other AP and then the to the station in the other bss. So basicaly put the AP mediates all transmission to and from supplicants.
