2 laptops... need help please!!

Hello. I have 2 HP laptops equiped with wireless 802.11g hardware and I am trying to get them to communicate with one another. They are both connected to a wireless router (d-link DI-524) for cable internet access and that works great. I would like to get the 2 to see each other for file transfers and so on. If anyone can help me with a how to to get these two to communicate, that would make my day. Thanks!!

If they are both talking to your router then they can communicate with each other through the router. All you need to do is to make sure they are both in the same workgroup and share whatever folders you want to share.

Can you explain how to do that?

Try searching google for "setting up a windows workgroup" or something along those lines... there should be plenty of info out there.
