on 2nd hand toshiba portege 3500 with xp pro I can't access the advanced button in wireless props to add a connection. I am a newbie, but did it OK on a DELL. The idea was to com in ad hoc between the two laptops as the toshiba has no drives.
The material seems to be present pci wireless lan card + intel pro mobile connector(enabled and working in device manager), even bluetooth. Could the previous user have blocked function ???
