I'll need to manage multiple RF installations across multiple sites.
Each site has a unique 3 digit numerical site number (ie: 001, 002. 003...122, 123, etc.)
I would like to have unique SSIDs between all sites, but do not want to use the obvious 3 digit site identifier as the SSID.
Can someone offer some schemes that would appear random, but perhaps are based on some simple alogorith that uses the 3 digit site number as a seed? Ideally, I'd like to have a simple formula that could be replicated in Excel, or could be calucated with pencil and paper (3 digit store #, add them together, divide by 2, round up, etc.).
I guess I want something that appears complicated, so that if you sniffed three neighboring sites they would appear different enough.
I would like the SSIDs to be longer than the 3 digit site number as well. 8-10 characters?
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks
