i have a pair of dlink dwl900ap+ and set them up as wireless bridge
i have directional 24dB antenna on both ap
first ap connect to the antena trough a pigtail (i made a box to put the ap and put it right under the antenna) and put it outside my building
and the other ap trough a pigtail AND orinoco's extender cable type lmr if i'm not mistaken (i made a box to put the ap and put it outside my other building too)

i received a lot of duplicated packet and a lot of lost packets (i ping it trough my linux box)
do you guys think the extender is the problem ?

thank you for any comment and suggestion

have you tried elimating possible causes?

take them out of the boxes they are in and try it
or
keep the original antennas and try it in close range unless they will reach from where they are?
or
try bringing them closer together with the setup they have to elimate distance being the culprate.

do you have the ability to try these things out.
i am not too experienced with different antenna settings so this is what i'd try.

hope this helps

I've pretty same equipment like yours. But I'm using DWL-900AP (not plus +) with 19dB grid antennas installed in weather proof boxes. They are working fairly fine, but they are 400m of distance with no perfect line of sight. Using WS Ping Pro utility I made test and notice the same problem like yours when I tried to send big packets.

What it's the distance between your AP's? Have a perfect line of sight? I don't think that the extender cable is the problem.
