Need Help with 802.11 In-Vehicle Solution

I am trying to find a 802.11 box with internal modem and serial port for in-vehicle applications. The device must be rugged enough to withstand vechicular applications. Support for 802.11a in addition to b would be a plus. Does anyone know of such a device or where I can get my hands on one? I have only seen pcmcia cards thus far.

The Apple Airport has a modem built in. it also works on a Orinoco Wave Lan Card so you can attach pigtail and external antenna, but I dont know about a serial port.
