Hi all!
I have heard a lot of talk by WISPs, hotspot-equipment vendors, WiFi client hardware vendors and the like of hotspots being "the way to go" for business use. I have even heard of sports stadiums being equipped wiht WiFi hitspot abilities as well.
Does anyone out there ever use a wireless hotspot beyond the business context? Also, if there is a hotspot near a highly-featured tourist attraction or at a sports stadium, does this hotspot have any negative impact on the tourist attraction or sports event with people bringing in and using their portable computers rather than enjoying the attraction or event?
