I tried to flash my Netgear ME102 AP (should be identical to WAP11 and SMC2655W) with the newest firmware 1.4h3.

On the first try the flash-utility killed the content of the AP's EPROM.
The USB-Config-Utility doesn't recognize the AP anymore, and there is no option of reverting the changes...

Does anyone know a way to recover the firmware of a 'dead' ME102?

Any help would be appreciated - Thanks!

Did you try re-installing? I don't know that one but I would expect it came with a CD-ROM install.

You cannot reinstall firmware, once the device is dead...
I contacted Netgear-support - they replace my dead ME102 with a new one, with the latest firmware. They're nice people, I have to say.

well I'm glad to hear they were so good about it. I have a 2 Netgear cards and they've been great.
