Do you know where I can find a
Compact PCI 802.11 network card?

I'm working on a project that needs one
and I haven't been able to find to date.

I've have found PCI cards but not
Compact PCI.

Compact PCI Card WI-FI 802.11 etc.

I would suggest the Linksys WMP11, its well priced ( $140 can.) The Client manager is easy to configure. It has a Di-pole antenna, but if you purchase or make a pigtail (reverse SMA connector to female N conntor) and use a panel antenna, say a maxrad 13dbi you'll get easily 1-1.5 Kms range.
Dlink also produce the DWL-520 PCI wireless card about the same specs and price, cleint manager is more advanced (which is good and bad in some cases) these cards are hard to find and often back ordered.

Hope this helps

I was wondering what the thought is out there about the difference between using a PCI Card or a PC Card.

I do not have a laptop and so I do not think I need the PC Card and the Wireless PCI Card (WMP11) from Lynksys seems cheaper than the PC Card.

Are there pro's and con's between the two (PCI or PC Card)?

THanks!
