Anyone has any field experience regarding deployment issues for a WISP using 2.4 (in the U.S) with micro-cells?
If you deploy OUTDOOR AP with either Omni or sectorial gains in between 12 to 19 dBm and want to limit coverage to less than 1 mile, I have the following questions:
a) Coverage to floor level, without the use of external antenna for the subscriber,
b) Interference with other channels from AP used in homes or business for "private" WLANs?
c) Does something like this makes any sense if there is plenty of DSL and Cable as broadband alternatives to potential customers?
d) interoperability issues with oh the shelf subscriber equipment such as Linksys or other?
