I'll build a wireless network in hills. Here is what I did. I use 3 APs(AP#1,AP#2,AP#3) and 2 AP Clients(APC#1,APC#2).I set APC#1 to be AP#1's client.and i connected APC#1 to AP#2 with Cat5 cable. Then i set APC#2 to be AP#2's client ,and i connected APC#2 to AP#3 with Cat5 cable.i work on a laptop with a wireless card. The connection of the laptop and AP#3 is quite well.but the connection of the laptop and AP#1 drops quite often.
Why? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
I am not at all sure what you are trying to do. If you are using AP's I am not sure how you can connect AP#2 to both AP#1 and AP#3 at the same time. We need much more information before we can even sart to understand the problem. What is the make and modle of the devices and exactly what is the network layout or purpose?

Something to be clearified:
The 3 APs are located in 3 hills. AP#1 and AP#2 are in line of sight, the distance is about 300meters. AP#2 and AP#3 are in line of sight as well, the distance is as far as 3000meters. But AP#1 and AP #3 can not see each other. In this case, we use 2 APClients to connect the 3 APs. APClient#1 connect AP#1 and AP#2 wirelessly, APClient#2 connect AP#2 and AP#3 wirelessly as well. The manufacture is NDC, a taiwan company, and the AP#1 is NWH9210, AP#2and#3 is NWH660, the 2 APClients is NWH6210.
Wish the information is helpful.
Thanks
I am surprised that AP1 will even connect to a notebook. It is a bridge and it has a wireless link setup to the APC1 already. You did not mention what AP1 is wired to either. I still am not sure what you are trying to do, other than extend the network from AP1 to AP3 where you are able to connect to that AP with wireless clients. That should work fine and seems to. AP1 should not respond to wireless clients as it is a bridge and setup to link with APC1. At least that is the way I understand it.
