I'm currently using a Powerbook G4 to access the internet via a Slackware machine with IP Masq. As I'm sure many of you are aware, the Powerbook G4 get's HORRIBLE range with the internal antenna. I've noticed recently a grouping of VERY strong magnets that seem to be intended to hold the keyboard down. Because of the low range, I was curious as to weather or not this may interfear with the wireless?

Thanks in advance.

The TiBook has bad range because the case is made from titanium. Magnets do not effect the signal in anyway.

Sorry but until Apple change fro titanium or somehow have the antenna exposed then there is nothing you can do.

Well...
In looking at the docs for it, the antenna runs in he section of the case that's NOT titanium. I've not taken mine apart to check for sure, I suppose I should. I was aware of that, but wanted to check for the other possibility. Thank you.
