Howdy,
I have just spent approx 3 hours attempting to use my 1200 AP as a local RADIUS server.
This is ridiculous. I have been to Cisco and downloaded the pdf on configuring the local Radius server.
I have set the AP's IP as the server. I gave it a shared secret, but there is no where on the client for the shared secret...
ssid manager is set for open and network EAP
encryption manager is set to mandatory WEP
server manager is set to the AP's IP address
local RADIUS server is set up with the AP's IP, myself as a current user (only me so far) and i am in a user group.
With the client set to host based leap, I at least am associated and attempt to authenticate.
Debugging says it fails but I'm not sure all of what I am reading.
Something is going to bleed soon....please help if you can...
All I want is the AP to act as a RADIUS so I can be the only user to authenticate.
If I make it past this then I will try other stuff
AP runs IOS 12.2 (13) ja1
Thanks,
spiderbite
