Hi,

I have to put the two networks together. I cannot use a dual access point, and as such have to determin the best positon for both access points. I have read lots of white papers about the co-existance issues, but these all seem to address interference at the mobile part of the network with these technologies in close proximity.

So my question is, is there any information on the postioning of the 802.11b and Bluetooth access points (relative to each other, ignoring the positioing for optimum site coverage). They have to be considered as seperate networks and cannot be connected in any way.

Good Luck, I have many more problem than not trying to get the two to co-exist. Especially if the BlueTooth has any kind of power level greater than the normal mouse or similar device. You mentioned that they addressed the issues, would you mind sharing that? I have some doubts, but would like to be proven wrong.

When I say addressed I mean they explain and attempt to model the issues, I did not mean they had a magical answer. Unfortunately they will interfer, just to varying degrees. I think the dual access points rely on a physical connection between the modes that prevents the over air interefrence and share the band, unfortunately I cannot use these.

V1.2 of Bluetooth does have adaptive frequency hopping but this requires a connection, so when in enquiry mode the chance of intereference is highest. (I am no expert)
