Hi Folks !
I spoke with someone at a Service Provider today who said they weren't sure whether 802.11x technolgies were going to be their long-term focus as if they could use 802.16 to get to an AP, they might as well wait for 802.16 H/W to get more established and then allow the end-user to take advantage of the additional bandwidth that 802.16 provides.
I know 802.16 promises greater bandwidth and it operates at a different frequency from the 802.11x's and on face value this seems like a reasonable idea. Could anybody offer any comments, please ?
Many thanks,
AJ
