Has anyonce tried sending voice (telephone) over the new Cisco 1400 series bridges? Although still not full duplex, does the enhanced speed and the QOS / voip features make this viable now?
We need to get across a street, distance is about 500 ft., clear line of site. Low number of users in the remote site.
We've had good experiences with the Cisco 340 and 350 series bridge products in the past.
Full duplex E1 radios are expensive and will require enhancements to the existing telephon system.
Any ideas or experiences with this sort of installation would be greatly appreciated.
