Please help, I know this is stupid to ask but I am network wireless retarded at this point. This is my first time to try this.
I bought a Speedstream 2624 and hooked it up to my HP 9995 Tower hopeing to wirelessly connect to my HP 1290 notebook with built in 802.11b.
My area is just now getting DSL but for now I am on dial up.
I would like to be able to exchange files etc. and link to the web if possible.
When I run the network wizard on the laptop it say's I have a disconnected network cable and shows an error, I am trying to use the 802.11b.
Please help if anyone has the time.
