Hi,

Why my Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card can’t see D-Link access points?
I’m running Win XP… (So probably something wrong with driver)

PS: I tried the same card on Win Me and it was able to see my D-link

Are you using 128-bit WEP? If so, then there is a compatability issuse, 128-bit WEP is not a standard.

I'm not using WEP at all...

PS: For more info: I have DWL-2000AP (2.04 firmware)

Well, that's whole nother story then. I suppose you updated your XP driver/firmware and the D-Link firmware?

My D-Link AP has:[B] Current Firmware Version: 2.04
Firmware Date: Wed, 10 Sept 2003 [B]

Firmware
Primarry Function Firm ware: Variant 1 V 4.00
Secondary Function firmware: Variant 1 V8.72
