Advice Needed for the not so intelligent

I was just wondering if I have two wireless APs made by the great company LINKSYS can they talk to each other with no problems. They will only be about 15 feet away from each other on the same side of a building and the building is made of concrete(I heard this is the worst possible thing to try to transmit through, but I don't know). One guy said he got this to work up to 15 miles, but I can not get mine to work more than 15 feet for some reason. Any help is appreciated. We also have a CISCO wireless PCMCIA card from the Aironet series that is involved.

There are much worse things to have to try to push a signal through... (3 miles of pine trees for example :) )

Does your AP have external antenna jacks? You could try that or get a signal booster or something.

ps that's how they were able to get 15 miles... external antennas...
