just bought D-Link DWL-5000AP
Why?
5.150 - 5.686 Ghz
OFDM
Dual Diversity Antenna's
Inexpensive by my standards
... and best of all....8 non-overlaping channels
One hell of a Micro cell eh!!
Now on to the problem at hand...
Deploying to small community of 8K
Need to convert Dual ducks to Real Dipole with Diversity
Mounting on Water Tower 250 feet AGL
Should I use Sectors or Omni .....and....
Can I use 100mw Amplifier?
Docs say antenna's are 1.5dBi right out of the box...Not enough to cover my 2 mile X 2 mile Microcell
Ducks have swivel and are easly removeable
Any suggestions?
