New Toshiba PDA on Orinoco Network

I have had an Orinoco network at home for some time, and after the initial messing with it, found it worked out quite well. I have planned to set one up at the office, as well, and got a Toshiba e740 PDA with integrated Wi-Fi. I set it up as directed, and am getting a signal, but am unable to see the network from the PDA, nor the PDA from the network. In addition, I have no access to the web from the device. I am set up with a cable modem to the Residential Gateway (RG-1100), and have this set up as a DHCP server. Any thoughts on how to make this go for the PDA?
